Christmas Day

Carter woke up about 7am.  Carter was so excited to open more presents.  Madelynn slept a little later so we let her sleep and did a few with just Carter.  I felt bad that she wasn't with us but she doesn't understand any of it anyway and I really wanted her to sleep!

Carter was looking at his presents under the tree and next to the couch.  He knew which ones were his.

Toy story flash lights

Remote control Mater...Carter's happy place!  He loves Mater!

This is what he was doing while daddy got Mater out of the box.  He couldn't contain his excitement.

New underware (that we are actually using now!)

Madelynn joined us and started opening her presents too...

I love this picture (below)...
She was looking up at daddy smiling.  So cute!

This was the dolly that Carter picked out for her.  She loved it.

And apparently it tasted good too!

Oh man, she melts me!

New taggy elephant

And the grand finale...
A entire construction set.  It has everything a construction fan would love.

That is the face I pictured when we picked this gift out for him...
Priceless!

He was so excited!

Playing with the crane truck (which he later broke and now sits on top of our fridge unusable :( Life with a two year old!

Telling daddy how excited she was to open more presents.

Reading her new book.

Blocks from Uncle Wade in Iowa

And Carter's new scooter from Uncle Wade.  He is really good at riding it too!

Later Christmas morning we went over to my dad and Lori's to celebrate Christmas with them.  We have always done presents and then french toast...my favorite!  They spoiled our kids too and we had a great time with them.

Her new teddy bear

Monster truck!

Army truck and helicoptor

Madelynn's new I-phone...yep, she has a better phone then we do :)

Unplanned family picture...and I love it!

Carter and Grandpa...I love this picture of them!  They are great buddies.

After nap time we had Jay's mom over to celebrate Christmas with her.

Playing with his new toys from Grandma.

A new dolly for sweet Madelynn

We had a great Christmas!  Thanks to our wonderful family for spoiling and loving us!  The next morning the alarms went off at 3am and we headed to the airport and flew to Iowa.  Those pictures will be coming soon!
