The new year (2014) started with celebrating Jay's 30th birthday. We had some friends over for boneless wings from Buffalo Wild Wings (one of our favorite restaurants).
We had a (somewhat cold) picnic dinner with friends at Silver Falls. Picnic lunch in January...kind of funny.
Our big snow storm! We don't get these very often but every four or so years we seem to get a good one. And this was a good one! We had so much fun playing in the snow and we made lots of snow ice cream for the first time.
Madelynn wasn't too fond of the snow!
This is a terrible picture of me but it is with my boy...so I had to post it.
Movie night in the living room while we were all snowed in. Jay didn't even get home from Lyons until late because of the snow!
Indoor snow day activities...
We had so much snow that Jay could actually snowboard down the street right next to ours. It was awesome!
In and out of the snow makes for a very messy living room!
Valentine's Day 2014
Our last picture with our three year old. The next day he turned 4! I love getting a picture the night before each of their birthdays.
