Yes, I am really this behind! I have been on a blogging hiatus lately and not completely by choice. Just this blog alone took me three tries to complete. The first two times I attempted to upload all of these millions of pictures, when I was almost at the end, all of the pictures disappeared. Ugh. So frustrating! So I finally tried again and this time I just did five or six at a time, uploaded them onto the blog and then continued. That way I could only lose a few at a time if the same thing happened again. I can't believe that literally, September is almost over and I am just now blogging about the 4th of July. I was planning on just doing a summer wrap-up post but there were way too many pictures from the 4th of July so it was special enough to get its own blog. So here was our 4th this year...
We went to the parade in Stayton and met Jay's mom there. The kids LOVED the parade!
Sorry, these pictures got out of order on here. After the parade we went to Jay's mom's for dinner and playing in the backyard. The kids had a blast playing in the water.
We left Jay's mom's house in time to head back to Salem to go watch the River Front firework show. It is never anything spectacular but it is close and the kids loved it. Jay brought these for the kids incase it was too loud. It wasn't too loud but they loved playing with them anyway.
It was fun snuggling up on a blanket and watching the show. I love these kids! And they sure love each other. I am blessed!
Most important boys to me! Love them!
Then after the fireworks show we went back home and still did a few of our own fireworks. It was so late and the kids were so tired but we were determined to get in the few that we bought for the kids. Seriously, I think we spent like $12. We don't do much! Just a little to make it special for them.
This seems to be our routine with the 4th lately. It is nice and relaxed. I'll be back soon with a summer wrap-up post so that I can move on to the fall! I have pre-school to write about!! And an 18 month blog post to write. Wow!
